The Special Undercutting allows getting a very precise fundamental tone, without alteration of the first overtone.

The Padding is composed of various materials: Cork, Gore-Tex and Leather. This ensures precise covering. Furthermore it greatly contributes to the tone and resonance of the instrument. The low register pads, fitted with Boosters, reinforce certain high overtones.
